ANIMEISTA
This Animeista User Agreement ("Terms") applies to your access to and use of the websites, mobile apps, APIs, emails, and other online products and services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Animeista.
Animeista is meant to be a place for entertainment, but we still need some basic rules. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, you may not access or use our Services.
Your access to the Services
No one under 13 is allowed to use or access the Services. Some additional Services may require you to be older, so please read all notices and any additional terms carefully.
By using the Services, you state that:
- You are at least 13 years old and above the minimum age required by the laws of your country of residence.
- You can form a binding contract with Animeista — or, if you're between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
- You are not barred from using the Services under any applicable law.
- You have not been permanently suspended or removed from the Services.
Payments, subscriptions, and virtual goods
1. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Animeista offers premium membership subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree that:
- Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription automatically renews at the same price and duration unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Account charging: your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Management: manage subscriptions and auto-renewal from your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Virtual items and decorations
The app lets you purchase digital items, including avatar decorations, frames and profile skins ("Virtual Goods").
- License only: Virtual Goods are licensed to you, not sold. You get a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use them within Animeista. They have no cash value and can't be traded or sold for real-world money.
- Permanent vs. consumable: permanent items (like frames) are linked to your account and can be restored. Consumable items are used up on activation and can't be restored after account deletion or reinstall.
3. Refunds and restoration
All sales are handled securely by Apple or Google — Animeista does not process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund requests. If you switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" in the app to regain access to active items and subscriptions linked to your account.
4. Account deletion and loss of assets
Privacy
Animeista's Privacy Policy explains how and why we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our Services. Using the Services means you consent to that collection and use.
Your Animeista account and account security
Certain features require an account with a username, password and other information as set out in the Privacy Policy. You're solely responsible for the information tied to your account and anything that happens through it. Keep your account secure, and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We recommend a strong password used only for your Animeista account.
We're always improving the Services — features may be added, changed or removed, sometimes without advance notice, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue the Services at any time. Future updates remain subject to these Terms.
Your content
The Services may contain text, links, graphics, photos, videos, audio and other materials, including content you create or submit ("Your Content"). We don't endorse or guarantee the completeness, accuracy or reliability of Your Content.
By submitting Your Content, you confirm you have all rights necessary to grant the rights described in these Terms — you alone are responsible for it, and posting without proper rights may expose you to liability.
You keep ownership of Your Content, but grant Animeista a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable and sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, distribute, store, perform and display it — including your name, username, voice or likeness — across all media and channels, and to make it available for syndication or distribution by partner companies. You also waive moral rights or attribution claims over Your Content.
Ideas, suggestions and feedback you share with us are voluntary, and we may use them without compensation or obligation to you. We have no obligation to screen or monitor Your Content, but may remove it at our discretion, including for violating these Terms.
Third-party content, advertisements, and promotions
The Services may link to third-party websites, products or services, which we don't control and aren't responsible for. Use of any third-party content is at your own risk.
The Services may also carry sponsored content or advertisements; the type, degree and targeting of ads may change, and we may place ads alongside any content, including Your Content.
If you run a promotion, contest or sweepstakes through the Services, you're solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws — your promotion must state it isn't sponsored by or associated with Animeista, and its rules must release Animeista from related liability. We won't assist with your promotion, and you run it at your own risk.
Moderators
Moderating is an unofficial, voluntary role that may be available to users. We're not responsible for moderator actions, and we can revoke or limit moderator status at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. Animeista may overturn any moderator decision it believes isn't in the interest of Animeista or its community.
Copyright, trademark, the DMCA, and takedowns
Animeista respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same from our users. We remove infringing material and, in appropriate cases, terminate repeat infringers. If you believe something on the Services infringes a copyright or trademark you own, you can notify us.
If we remove Your Content in response to a copyright or trademark notice, we'll notify you by email or in-app message. If you believe Your Content was wrongly removed, you can contact us.
Content rules
You should not violate any of the following:
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats of violence.
- Respect others' privacy — don't instigate harassment by revealing personal or confidential information.
- Don't post or encourage sexual or suggestive content.
- You don't need to use your real name, but don't impersonate an individual or entity in a misleading or deceptive way.
- Keep it legal — avoid posting illegal content.
- Follow any additional rules outlined in our post, comment, and profile report reasons.
