Ever since the time her mom got mad at her, Mikage has been creating 'phantoms.' Envy Phantom is the story of Mikage trying to overcome these phantoms.
Background
On May 15th, 2021, artist and vocaloid producer Harumaki Gohan released Daisan no Shinzou, the first in a series of songs that would later become the album "Genei EP: Envy Phantom". Accompanying this album was the manga/artbook which would go into greater depth on the lore of the songs. This had been preceded by the mobile game "Genei AP" to promote the album as well as Gohan's previous works and followed up by the live show "Genei LV: A Tale of Shadows" that showed a different path of the story.
