Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Season 1 Concludes Amid New Anime Release Window Hints!

After a journey spanning nine years and the release of chapter 311 of the manhwa "Omniscient Reader", it has been announced that Season 1 has officially concluded, with no return date revealed. At the same time, Com2uS revealed during its latest earnings meeting that a game adaptation of the series is scheduled for release in 2027.

Alongside the game announcement, the company also shared new information regarding the anime adaptation of the manhwa. According to its presentation slides, the project is targeting a 2027 release window; however, this has not yet been officially confirmed by the production or distribution partners.

The company is currently placing increasing focus on webtoon and anime-based titles. As previously reported, its latest earnings meeting highlighted upcoming game projects based on major IPs such as Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and Gachiakuta, both expected in 2027, reaffirming that its future growth strategy will rely on globally popular intellectual properties.

Manhwa Information

The series originally began as a web novel and was later adapted into a webtoon. It has been published in print format by A.Tempo Media since December 2020, while its digital English release has been available since August 2020.

The story follows Kim Dokja, a young man who continued reading the web novel “Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse” until its final chapter, only to find its events suddenly becoming reality. With full knowledge of what is to come, he becomes trapped in a world filled with deadly scenarios and mysterious beings, embarking on a journey to survive and challenge the fate he once knew.
