The author and creator of the "Vinland Saga" manga, 'Makoto Yukimura', took to his official account on X to deny circulating rumors about a third season. He expressed his deep gratitude to the fans, clarifying that he has not received any official news regarding the production.

He also noted that the spread of these rumors is due to the audience’s strong passion and desire for a new season. He added that he currently has free time and is willing to assist at the production site in any way, even with simple tasks like buying bento boxes.

Manga Information

Vinland Saga originally began in the weekly Shonen Magazine in 2005, but later moved to the monthly magazine Afternoon due to the author’s difficulty keeping up with the weekly schedule. The first two volumes were re-released with new covers and additional pages after the move.

The series is set in a historical depiction of Europe during the Viking era and follows the life of Thorfinn, a young warrior who joins the mercenary band led by Askeladd to avenge his father, Thors. The series is divided into four story arcs: the War Arc, the Slave Arc, the Eastern Expedition Arc, and the final arc, currently unofficially referred to as the Vinland Arc.
