Private Data We Receive And Collect

When you create an Animeista account, and when you use the Services, we collect some personal data about you such as:

• Your full name, username, email address and other contact details.
• A unique Animeista user ID which is assigned to you upon registration.
• Other optional information as part of your account profile.
• Your IP Address and, when applicable, timestamp related to your consent and confirmation of consent.
• Other information submitted by you or your organizational representatives via various methods.
• User generated content (such as messages, posts, comments, pages, profiles, images, feeds or communications exchanged on the Supported Platforms).
• Images or other files that you may publish via our Services.
• Information (such as messages, posts, comments, pages, profiles, images) we may receive relating to communications you send us, such as queries or comments concerning the Services.

Federated Logins (Google & Facebook)

You can open your account as a registered user on Animeista with your own account on other platforms, such as "Google" or "Facebook", using the federated logins that you will find at the login page, and access whenever you want through them, without having to create and remember a specific username and password to access Animeista.

This option is available due to the collaboration between Animeista and these platforms as the joint controllers of the processing of your personal data, so that you can identify yourself directly on these platforms, they confirm that you are who you say you are, and we provide you with your login as a registered user on Animeista.

Animeista obtains from these platforms, with your consent, your username, image and email address in order to register you as an Animeista user. These platforms collect online identifiers (IP address), technical identifiers (from your device, as well as their advertising identifiers such as "Google ID" or "Apple ID") and record, each time you use their login, the date and time of your access to Animeista.

Transaction & Digital Asset Data

When you subscribe to Animeista Premium or purchase digital items (e.g., avatar decorations), we collect data related to these transactions, including:

• Transaction Identifiers: Unique IDs provided by Apple/Google to verify your purchase.
• Subscription Status: Current plan type, start/end dates, and renewal status.
• Virtual Inventory: A record of digital items (e.g., avatar decorations, frames, and profile skins) linked to your Animeista account for cross-platform access.

Note on Payment Processing: We do not collect or store your credit card or financial account numbers. All payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Information We Collect Automatically

Animeista also automatically collects and receives certain information from your computer or mobile device, including the activities you perform on our Website, the Platforms, and the Applications, the type of hardware and software you are using (for example, your operating system or browser), and information obtained from cookies.

For example, each time you visit the Website or otherwise use the Services, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, access times, the web page from which you came, the regions from which you navigate the web page, and the web page(s) you access (as applicable).

How Animeista Uses your Data

We use information about you for the following general purposes:

• To identify you when you login to your account.
• To enable us to operate the Services and provide them to you.
• To analyze the Website or the Application and information about our visitors and users, including research into our user demographics and user behaviour in order to improve our content and Services.

Entitlement Mapping

To provide secure cross-platform access to your purchases, we link your platform-specific transaction identifiers (provided by Apple or Google) to your Animeista Account ID via secure server-to-server validation. This ensures that your premium status and digital items persist across different devices and operating systems while maintaining the highest level of transaction security.

Data Retention of Purchases

We retain a record of your digital inventory (decorations and subscription status) for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, this purchase history will be anonymized or deleted in accordance with our data deletion policy, and access to these items will be revoked.

Data Security and Storage

To ensure the safety of your account information and purchase history, we use secure third-party hosting and cloud infrastructure providers to store and protect your data. We implement industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure your digital assets (like premium status and decorations) are always available across your devices.

Child Safety Commitment

We at Animeista take the safety and privacy of children very seriously. We are fully committed to ensuring that our app is a safe space for all users, particularly minors, and we follow strict standards to protect children from abuse, exploitation, and harmful content.

Reporting Framework

We have implemented robust in-app reporting tools that allow users to report content or activity. Our team reviews reports and takes swift action, including removing harmful content and banning offending accounts.
