Contexte
Fireworks: Lights Seen from the Side is written by Shunji Iwai and was originally created as a special television film in the 1990s, based on an idea the author had when he was young. In 2017, with the advent of the animated film Fireworks, a book about this special from the 1990s was published, mixed with the idea he had as a young man. Fireworks: Lights Seen from the Side presents the “original” story of the 1990s live-action film.
